The bean bag chairs will give the students the opportunity to read in a comfortable place. They usually have to sit in a hard chair or the floor. This way they can focus on reading and understanding what the text is about, instead of readjusting themselves and losing their train of thought. They can be in their own space in the reading area researching, reading, or conversing in group work. With the opportunity to read in the beanbags they will be more willing to pick up a book and read which will increase a love of reading, leading to more fluent reading.
