Technology has revolutionized the way our students learn, work and play. Having access to technological advancements helps to level the playing field for students from low-income households. My students will use the chromebooks to access computer based interventions that improve basic reading, writing and math skills. We will use chromebooks in Science to support project-based learning and research. Chromebooks will be used to complete assignments and interventions already integrated into our Math program. This will maximize instruction! Integrating technology into my classroom will help my students be prepared for their future careers. Use of chromebooks in my classroom will help me to effectively reach all of my students by actively engaging them in exciting lessons, projects and learning experiences. Students of multiple learning styles will have the opportunity to excel and succeed. Most of my students do not have a computer in their homes. Chromebooks in the classroom will provide my students with access to essential information on a daily basis. Technology in my classroom will empower my students to be connected in this world and make significant contributions to their own education.
