My students do not have access to any Spanish materials other than text books. We are starting a reading program for students interested in the Spanish language and/or enrolled in Spanish courses. This project is designed to teach the language and culture while encouraging students to read. Students will begin at the beginners level and continue through the advanced readers while earning points, rewards, and knowledge. Your generous donation to our project will help prepare these students for college and the workforce in today's diverse and multicultural society. Students in a Title I public school system are often not provided the resources the students they will compete against for college acceptance and employment due to low funding. The Spanish AR program does not exist in our school we are starting this as our project with your help you will provide students with the materials necessary to succeed in learning a foreign language that is required for so many degrees and careers.
