My kids come from a variety of difficult home and financial situations, but school is a place where they can all come and feel welcomed, loved, and excited about learning. They are super pumped about diving into the world of science, and I want to make sure I provide them with the best educational experience I can! It's crucial that these students believe that they can grow up to be awesome scientists/engineers/doctors, and we are going to learn about some amazing role models! I believe that having lab coats as we do experiments throughout the year will make the kids feel like real scientists, and get them even more geared up to think and act like ones!
