A good pair of headphones will help block out sound so students can focus on their blended learning programs such as Accelerated Reader, I-ready, and Smarty Ants. At my school, our students are required to spend 45 minutes on I-ready reading program and 45 minutes on I-ready math, with a combined minimum of 90 minutes of computer learning each week. When the headphones aren't working, it becomes a distraction for students wasting time when they could be learning. The majority of my students can't access these programs at home and must complete their work at school. This is why I need a new set of headphones.
