Having the letters and numbers at home with the students will allow me to gage their understanding as I teach At this young age, my students need hard representations of what they are being taught. Young children need to be able to manipulate items. Young children love to imitate what they are seeing. Parents will also love having the manipulatives at home. This will enable them to help their children succeed at this early stage in their educational lives.
