My school is a Title I school and serves low-SES minorities. My kids are the absolute best and make incredible growth gains each year with what little resources we have, but I want to take them to the next level! I consider myself a technology driven teacher, but as we all know, without the financial component, it's quite challenging. We have an old set of computers that we get to use for projects and other activities, but there are no headphones. With headphones, I can use practices like flipping the classroom or give them more creative freedom with their assignments. Each year I also get the privilege of coaching the volleyball team, but we never have enough equipment to effectively practice or even warm up during home games. We end up having a ratio as challenging as 5:1 for students to volleyballs which makes repetition difficult.
