In today's world, many children lack the ability to solve everyday problems due to the constant influence of technology that is readily available. Gone are the days when families spend quality time together interacting with dinner, games, and basic conversations. I want to foster a resurgence of these skills in the educational setting through the use of various games, activities and technology. Using games in an educational setting is an unique way of incorporating logical thinking, strategic planning, and collaboration between students. These activities will also allow for students to communicate face to face while working together to solve a larger problem. Aside from the logical reasoning, these activities will also teach a variety of life skills such as: basic math and science skills, listening and speaking skills, and cooperation. An added bonus to these activities is for students to have fun!
