Stability balls have many benefits in the classroom. Students who use them are better able to concentrate. While sitting on a stability ball, they are forced to use both sides of their brain to stay balanced. This helps to keep them engaged and ready to learn. They also help students with ADHD stay focused, while also satisfying their need to move. Stability balls force students to sit up straight. When students are sitting up straight, they are more likely to pay attention and stay engaged. When students are able to stay focused, they are better able to learn. This builds confidence and fosters a love for learning.
