The children in my classroom range in age from 3-5. They are curious, busy and full of energy. They come from diverse backgrounds including ESL students, children with special needs and abilities and low to mid socio-economic family incomes. These children come from 'typical' families, broken, single parent families, grandparent as parent families and other situations. Many have seen parents and caregivers struggle with health or addiction issues. Many live with poverty and qualify for free lunch and the backpack program at school. However, these issues do not prevent these children from growing and developing and wanting to experience life to the fullest!

About my class
