This year I am focused on increasing opportunities for students to master our course objectives independently. My classes will use our Google Classroom as a source of videos, texts and examples to guide them through each standard. While I will continue to use class time for projects and discovery activities on each topic, this blended model will allow students to work ahead of their peers or get extra help on a particular topic. Students will use our classroom technology to watch videos and quiz themselves on their mastery of each topic. It is crucial that I provide technology in my class, as not all of my students have reliable technology at home. Students will be able to utilize iPads during class to catch up on assignments or topics they've missed. They can also come in after school to complete technology- based homework assignments.
