Working in an underprivileged school makes me realize that all students deserve what they need in order to learn to their highest potential. What my students need are hands on materials to help keep them engaged and focused. My students are continuously moving around throughout the classroom, and meeting in small groups and yearning for hands on activities. My school is in the heart of a large city, and many of my students receive free or reduced lunch. My school can be described as urban and many of our students come to school hoping to escape from daily troubles at home.

About my class
