Currently I have a multiple subject credential which allows me to teach elementary and part of middle school (as long as I teach 50% of my students for 50% of the day). I desire to teach solely middle school mathematics (which is not the most desirable position by most individuals but I love it!) but need an authorization in mathematics to do so. With only twenty credits in mathematics required to obtain this authorization, I have nine completed from my undergraduate degree, so only eleven more to go! I wish to finish these credits (three at a time in one class) by the end of the school year. With four classes to take a $1,000 a piece (including books) that's $4,000. Sustaining a living in the bay area as a single teacher doesn't leave much wiggle room for extra expenses. I am grateful for any funding or support you can provide.
