My English and Yearbook students are working hard this year to set reading and writing goals, and to reach them. Students will use the requested reading materials for both their reading practice and their writing assignments. We are currently working on creating a hybrid (in-person and online) reading and writing course for students whose learning was affected by COVID-19 and these materials will directly impact those learners. We will be able to use them to plan our lessons and help these students catch up to grade level standards. We regularly use whiteboards in class to practice grammar and to review for tests, but we desperately need new ones that aren't falling apart. Using these whiteboards will allow students to work individually and in groups to study. Having a standing desk will allow myself and my students the flexibility to move around the room to work, and I have many students who would benefit from a standing option to work. By donating to our project, you will be helping enhance my students classroom experience and help them reach their reading goals!
