Building a perfectly visually supported learning environment requires A LOT of materials. I need all of the "basic" materials that can help me start this process for my classroom. This includes a laminator, velcro, magnets, label maker, organizers,pencil sharpeners etc. These supplies will help create visual supports that are important for my students success in my classroom. For example, each student in my classroom benefits from having highly individualized schedules that are posted in the classroom as well as with them throughout the day. Some students have reinforcing token systems that are also in place as part of their schedules. I plan to create, using a laminator and velcro, easily accessible visual and interactive schedules and materials for all of my students.
