My students live in an urban area near downtown Los Angeles. Many commit to extra travel time to attend our Science Program and are highly motivated to creating interesting and high quality projects in science. I have never taught such a motivated group of risk-takers. Middle school students have a strong investment in being successful students in preparation for high school and college.
