During small group reading, students read through books in groups of 5-6. While they are reading we are also working on important comprehension skills, fluency skills and the ability to think independently. Each of the books I've selected are highly recommended for 3rd grade students or come from an author that has a variety of other books they can read on the side! These students will be able to explore and learn from these books! Having a variety of books to choose from gives them a sense of control over their own learning and allows them to continue developing their passion for reading!

About my class
