Children cannot succeed without an education in math, science, and literacy so why do we constantly ask them to succeed without proper character education? If my project is fully funded, I will use these books in individual counseling, small group counseling, and large group character education. Character education is very important, especially with what is going on in the world around us. They say that if children are still displaying negative behaviors by age 8, it can be a LIFELONG problem. These books explain adult concepts in kid-friendly terms which will really help children in my schools grow to be positive members of society, instead of letting their current habits get them into trouble.
