My students need quality literature and CDs that they can listen to in our Daily 5 centers. This project will benefit my current class of 24 and all the other students I will have for a very long time. Listening to stories on CD's develops critical comprehension skills. There are many benefits to​ having a listening center in your classroom. When children have the ability to choose the books they listen to, they’ll also be more likely to remain engaged and on-task. Children that are engaged want to learn. This project will offer my students many different genres of literature and books to choose from.
