My students are an energetic, eager, and hardworking group of learners. The make up of Windlake Academy is primarily Hispanic students from low income households. My students are a hardworking group of boys and girls who are overcoming great challenges- both inside and outside of the classroom. Regardless, my students are resilient and eager for success. My classroom is set up to celebrate students in their triumphs, learn from mistakes, challenge them to their limits, and find the joy and excitement in learning. We strive for excellence and set high expectations for ourselves. Our classroom is set up to accept differences, respect each other, and push the limits.
