The most important thing to me as a teacher is knowing that my students are receiving an education that will help them have successful futures. The majority of my students have severe learning disabilities in reading, writing, and math. Many of my students face challenges with inattention and sensory processing. Due to limited resources, it has been extremely difficult to acquire the necessary resources for my students receiving special education. To meet my students' need and increase engagement with lessons, my students require integration of technology, kinesthetic movement, tactile manipulatives, visual aids, and high-interest reading material. Therefore, in order to enhance the curriculum, Putting my students first, I can tell you that they are all hard working, resilient, sensitive, compassionate and enthusiastic about learning.
