The laser printer will make it possible for students to create their own photographs and expose the laser prints on transparencies as part of cyanotype art. The laser printing technique, adds another layer of interest for the students who enjoy the photographic process. Students will collect and press wildflowers and natural objects to creatively place on the cyanotype solution prepared paper. This art project gives our students multiple science, nature and art explorations. They learn about art planning, measuring, chemistry, science, nature, photography, sun contact printmaking and collaboration!!! Finally, they get to go out in the sun and watch the magic development of the sun cyanotype print!

About my class
