My students are learning numbers, the alphabet, starting to learn to read and solve basic math problems. I am a first year teacher and I want to provide them a comfortable space with a variety of books and activities to enjoy. Having a comfortable space will encourage them to learn and want to read. The seats will also be great for buddy reading and when they can read around the classroom. The different math activity centers show them new ways to learn while using manipulatives. The literacy centers will provide activities to review important reading skills by themselves or with a classmate.
