Allowing my scholars the opportunity to stand or "wobble" or move while they're learning will enhance their educational experience. Sitting still at a traditional desk and chair is not suited for all kids. Think about how long an adult can sit still on a hard chair without losing focus or being distracted! Not very long! Wobble stools and standing desks allow scholars choice when it comes to their learning environment. Better seating/ standing options frees them from the distraction of pent up energy. This also improves behavior, especially during those long cold winter months when we're stuck inside because we get snow about 6 months a year!
