Students do not like to walk up to the front of the classroom to work out problems on the board. A writing tablet can help these students work out problems from their desks without having to be in front of the class. It will allow them to present to the entire class in a more comfortable, less-threatening environment. Additionally, it will make it easier for me to create sketches of real world word problems. Being able to sketch good drawings will allow students to better visualize the word problems and solve them much easier. These sketches can be easily uploaded to websites for students to learn from home.
