The materials will make a difference to my students because it creates a cultural classroom library. These books will aid students as they research and learn about people around the world. In my class, students rotate into my room throughout the year, and they have a wide variety of reading abilities. This will allow all readers to have access to information about the countries we are learning about and will help them gather facts to contribute when working on projects and activities. It will also give them the confidence to be effective researchers. These books will open up the world to my students and allow them to see the difference and similarities we have as a human race.
