This new, clean, and ERASABLE whiteboard will support student learning in my middle school Special Education classroom. This board will also provide a surface upon which I can project information, educational videos, and images for my students. In the event that someone is learning virtually, students at home will be able to see what is projected clearly! Students, especially those with learning challenges, need visual representations and concrete explanations of new and abstract concepts or vocabulary, and I will be able to project information on this new whiteboard as well as use it with math interventions. For example, when introducing the Saguaro Cactus(not native to our area) during a book study, popping up an image via the projector onto the whiteboard is much stronger learning support than v describing the cactus or having to pull a small image up on my phone! Having a large, working whiteboard that students and I can use together will thoroughly enhance math class.
