I could never describe my students in a way that does them any justice. I teach ninth and tenth grade English Language Arts at a secondary campus for high school students. Our school is the home to four career pathways: Office Management, Culinary Arts, Computer Aided Design and the Media Arts programs. Our district is in the process of becoming a trauma sensitive school and as such we need to update our classroom in a way that will reflect our district vision. It is imperative that my students receive the materials they need so that they can feel safe while at school which in turn will allow them to focus on their school work. I refer to my students as "my cherubs," I love them with all of my heart and will do my very best to support them in whatever way I can.
