Every year teaching becomes more challenging due to the variety of kiddos we have in our class. Due to the fact that our classes are so diverse, the needs range from very low to very high within one classroom. They all learn differently and at different paces. Having so many different needs to meet, I would like to provide my students with flexible seating to increase focus and desire to learn. They will be able to pick where they would like to sit and feel comfortable in their learning. Flexible seating is where the kids have control over where they sit and what type of seat they sit on. One day they might choose a yoga ball, another day they might choose a stool, another day a pillow. The seating goes on. Flexible seating gives the students control over where they sit and how they learn. Please help my students create the learning environment they wish to have.
