I will purchase secret stories support materials to reinforce these groundbreaking phonics’ hints in class and at school. Also, I will purchase articulation and language materials to support phonological awareness. Engagement through explicit instruction in both small and whole group settings will be increased as the various modalities will be in use through implementation of OG materials. Decodable readers will provide readable texts to apply skills that are taught. For example, I will make sound walls for each student using secret stories stickers. They will use them to blend and segment words.
