Our school, as of this year, is a STEAM Magnet school. A big part of STEAM, is technology! My classroom only has 5 computers and a smart board. As a STEAM school I feel my students need more access to different types of technology in the classroom. I would love to have students use Amazon Fire tablets as a center during both reading and math and even to create projects for all subjects. Students in my class are expected to work in teams to finish projects and adding a new way to do these projects would be beneficial. Every student learns in a different way, having extra technology to aid in students learning is proven by research to be a positive learning tool. The learning experiences are endless with technology at our hands!
