Most of my students do not come​ from homes that take time to show how important reading is. No time is etched out for reading or homework in their home. I want to change that while they are in my classroom. I want them to be able to know that reading is an important part of life. They will have a place where they can cuddle up with a pillow and read one of our leveled books in their classroom. The textured pillows requested will give them that place! I also ordered Scholastic News. It highlights news on their level. They will each have their very own copy to enjoy.
