Each one of these products will be used in creating an effective learning environment for my students at home! There are so many digital resources out there on TeachersPayTeachers that promote student learning and will be exactly what I need to make sure we are able to meet our standards and effectively learn through distance learning. The other two items are going to make it possible for me to effectively teach. The first is a light to make sure the students can see me well. The other is a holder for an iPad that will serve as a document camera for me to write directly on the papers that my students will be doing. First graders still need quite a lot of explicit and visual instructions. When we had to close the first time back in March, my students only had access to handed out packets, which have since been deemed ineffective. I do not want my students to be in that same situation this year. I want to do everything in my power to make sure my students have the best possible chance to learn everything they can this year even though that might be through distance learning.
