These supplies will allow these 5th grade scientists to continue to build the foundational science skills they will need, whether they are in a classroom or learning from home this fall. Each student scientist will receive a string bag filled with the materials they need to further their understanding of physical science and the scientific process. I look forward to hearing the buzz of students fully immersed and collaborating in the science lab again soon; their voices rising with excitement as they make a simple circuit work for the first time. The true laboratory experience is difficult to replicate online or in a socially distanced classroom. With these tools, you will help our students begin to make those connections and lay a strong foundation for possible future in STEM. With this first set, each of our students will be able to explore magnetism, solubility, conductivity, density, the states of matter, and more. Thank you.
