I teach in a predominantly bilingual community with diverse learners. My students absolutely love to read and explore adventures through the characters presented. Many students have expressed that we need a variety of books such as graphic novels and more books to read and explore. The more high quality literature students read the more excited they get about reading. The motto that we have in our classroom is that we need vitamins for our brains and that vitamin is reading. Having a love for literature is a way to advance in life and to become successful. Unfortunately, my classroom does not have that many books that the students can explore with. Reading is fundamental to a good education. Please help me provide my students with the resources necessary to foster my students' love of reading.
