In our classroom, I love to integrate student strengths and interests to create a fun, loving, and welcoming environment. As kindergarteners, the students love to move and play as often as possible! I would love to incorporate more movement into their academic tasks to help continue their love and excitement for learning. Wobble stools will help my young kindergarteners by channeling their movement into their learning. The stools will allow the students to wiggle while they work, helping to provide focus for the tasks at hand. The stools will also help support the strengthening of the core muscles in their growing bodies! We currently have one wobble stool in our classroom, and the students take turns each day using it when working with me during learning centers. Having a group set will allow all of the students to use a stool each day!
