Post pandemic/online learning, students are lacking crucial math skills such as multiplication, division, and fraction sense. The manipulatives on my list will help students learn in a hands-on way in small groups with me as well as independently or with a partner or group of students. My students also love the flexible seating offered in our classroom and the floor seating options will allow students options to sit closer to the front to see the board or when working collaboratively with others. Movement and choice help ensure engagement and active learning for all!
