Everyone student at our school has music twice a week for 35 minutes. The more opportunities we have to sing, move, and play INSTRUMENTS, the better we will be able to learn about music. Right now, we only have 2 xylophones and that's just not enough! An alto xylophone is a wonderful instrument for children because the pitches are in the students singing register. This allows them to really begin to match pitch and refine their singing skills. I am an Orff-Certified Music Educator and built the music program at my old school from the ground up. I'm ready to do the same at my new school and the first step is equipping the music room with instruments! Please help us become the best musicians we can be by filling our music room with more instruments!
