I have the unique opportunity this year to loop from 7th to 8th grade with my students. We're starting out the year with the relationships, trust, and knowledge of each other we've spent the past year building. I have a better understanding this year than I ever have of what will increase my students' success as learners. All students deserve to learn and work in an environment that supports their needs and differences. By utilizing flexible seating, such as wobble stools and balance discs, in my classroom, I will give my students the space to make decisions about the things that work for them in the classroom, support them in learning about themselves and each other, and increase engagement and student success.

About my class
