After three years facilitating the Special Education programs at the Bradley and worked closely with staff and families, I decided it was time to get back to the classroom! Being a "newbie" teacher, I am in need of many supplies to ensure my students have the tools to learn with and a welcoming environment to learn in. This year I'll be teaching second grade and have a group of students that is diverse in ethnicity, religion, race, language and skill (my classroom is considered an "inclusion environment" where "regular education" students are mixed with "special education" students). I've been lucky enough to know all of my incoming students since they were in Kindergarten. These students are kind and curious. They are eager to learn about the world around them and will work hard to succeed. I'm excited for our year ahead, but need you're help to prepare!
