Some days technology class will consist of about 20 students, and other days we may have 30-35. Can you imagine what 20-35 laptops sound like when they are all running different programs at once? Students need to be able to listen to directions and assignments multiple times if necessary, when they are ready. But it is also necessary for students who may fall a little behind, to listen on their computers without disturbing other students who may have already moved onto other tasks. A classroom set of 36 headphones is absolutely necessary to accommodate the large number of students working in the classroom on any given day. The resources donated will allow students to focus and work at their own pace without disturbing each other; this way students will get the most out of their technology instruction. This is going to be an exciting and new experience for my students, and my wish is to make this a smooth transition.
