I teach four classes - English I, Intro to Journalism, newspaper, and yearbook. Newspaper and Yearbook are student-run publications classes and maintain a presence online through our website and social media as well as a printed product (newspaper 6 issues/year; 160-page yearbook). English I is the freshman year English course. Intro to Journalism is a media-based class teaching ethics, reporting process, current events, news vs fake news, different types of writing (news, features, opinions, sports), photojournalism and magazine/newspaper page design.
