The objective of my project is to add a few things in phases to what we already have that will catapult our ability to create, and not just consume, in the library. We strive to create a community of collaboration in our library media center, by establishing a MakerSTUDIO and BOOK CLUB, specifically for our students. By adding microphones, we can create podcasts and voice overs. By adding mounting arms for our iPad, we can create video and slow motion animation. By adding a collection of new books we can start a community book club. I am starting to use the iPads in centers, so they may be used to find information, play games, (like playing an educational word game from Osmo), composing music, drawing, problem solving, creating video, and using the green screen set to the background scenery in which their stories can be told and enhances through video.
