Our Counseling Center is located in the old home economics classroom. We will be conducting small groups and guidance lessons to 7th and 8th grade students in this space. The lessons and small groups will be based on helping the students with academic development. Students will acquire the academic preparation essential to choose from a variety of educational, training, and employment options upon completion of secondary school. We will also focus on career development. Students will investigate the world of work in order to make informed career decisions. Lastly, we will be working on personal and social development. Students will acquire an understanding of, and respect for, self and others, and the skills to be responsible citizens. I would like to incorporate flexible seating into our work area.
