Our classroom has no windows! I have created a "window" on one of our bulletin boards, but the fact is, we still only have fluorescent lighting in the classroom. I have tried adding table lamps to make the environment more cozy, but it is still too dark to turn off the overhead lights. I notice myself getting headaches in the classroom and worry about the effects on my students' health and behaviors. If I am able to purchase these light covers, I believe my students and I will reap the benefits of filtered lighting. The colors of these particular filters should help the classroom to be a calm and inviting place for the children to learn.
