Comfy chairs are a great way to enhance the comfort of a classroom. My students sit in desks for most of the day and I want more flexible seating throughout the classroom. This will hopefully improve their eagerness to read and most importantly learn to read. Students will utilize the comfy chairs during silent reading time. They will sit on a comfy chair, a tool for comfort during reading. Students can pair up with a buddy and share a story to one another. I want my students to look forward to reading and feel comfortable enough to sit back into a comfy chair and get lost in a great book.
