The Listening Station is one of many Literary Stations that are a vital part of the learning process during reading in my class. However, I would like to make it essential in the learning process in math, science and social studies as well. The Listening Station will be utilized by all students throughout the day, it will allow students to be facilitators of their learning/academic progress and have immediate feedback to what they have learned. The Listening Station would also allow the teacher to give more one on one instruction to students throughout the day. This will eliminate students being left on their own to complete worksheets during one on one instruction.
