I am requesting Energy Crisis Project-Based STEM Kit,Force & Motion Activity Lab, K'Nex Renewable Energy, Conservation and Climate Change Books for my students to use while inventigating Engergies for tomorrow. Using hands-on materials and reading to enhance background knowledge, my STEM Scholars will be able to create alternative energy choices for the future. The K'Nex Renewable resource kit will provide my students with solar and wind components to explore. Through their hands on exploration they will be able to simulate a solar panel and a wind turbine that will supply a mock up city with energies. This exploration is a real world authentic learning opportunity for students to discover the energy sources that our planet will need in the future.
The reading materials will allow the students to research and investigate how turbines and solar panels work. Thus, building their knowledge.
My STEM students will create sources for tomorrow's energy needs. We will depend on their exploration, creativeness, discoveries, and learning to help us sustain our planet's needs.
Their contributions will be paramount for our ever-changing planet.
Learning by doing will allow my STEM scholars to discover the importance of real world application of the Sciences and how they can personally make a difference in our global society. Furthermore, the learning experience with these materials will help create future responsible citizens.
