Our students work 15 minutes daily on tablets utilizing the Waterford Learning program. We struggle with wired headphones that may or may not work from day to day. Bluetooth wireless headphones would eliminate the "hearing" problems students have with their wired headphones. My hope is to get funded to purchase 10 headphones of quality for my well-deserved students. Headphones are a plus when it comes to utilizing the Waterford program in Pre-K, but this is not the only thing that makes having wireless headphones a must-have in our classroom.Listening and working on educational websites at their independent learning levels is a terrific way to use headphones. Headphones make listening to videos individualized and exciting. We have seven wired, working headphones to date for a class of 18. We've had to throw many of the wired headphones away. We ask our students daily if they can hear out of their wired headphones, never knowing when the next pair will will break. We've taught our students how to properly care for the headphones, though students still have twisted wires, bitten wires and pulled on wires until the headphones no longer work. The struggle is real! I feel quality wireless headphones would definitely help our students to quickly access their learning program on a day to day basis. These wireless headphones are also foldable, which is great for our class, as our space is limited. I know our students would greatly appreciate the donation!
