By using the document camera in my classroom, my students learning will be improved by seeing hands-on examples of reading texts, worksheets, instructions, and so on. I plan for students to use the document camera to show their own work. This will build classroom community and confidence in the student. I hope for my classroom to be student-led and allowing them to create their own learning. Students will be able to see exact examples rather than a small copy that could be hard to for students to see. This will allow students to stay in the place they are working rather than move all over the room to see examples. Students will also use Expo markers for writing on whiteboards, pens to grade and evaluate their own work, and pencils with a sharpener because in a 4th grade classroom you can never get enough of those!
